Born in 1969, and raised in Nelson, I have been working in the design & advertising industry for nearly 30 years, since graduating from Wellington School of Design in 1990. I have held positions in some of New Zealand’s most respected creative agencies including DNA Design, Clemenger BBDO and Saatchi & Saatchi.

For the last 15 years I have run my own successful graphic design business based in Nelson, developing brand and creative execution to a range of companies nationally and internationally.

I am now balance working as a designer with an increasing focus on painting. I like to paint figures, urban and rural landscapes, architecture and objects bathed in light. My realist style is intended to engage, to evoke a story using nostalgic objects or scenes capturing New Zealand life.

I live in Atawhai Nelson, with my wife Alex and have two grown up children. I enjoy mountain biking, snow skiing, travel, house renovation and spending time with family.
